Design Research at M3 is a means to inform and inspire Product Development Strategy to create sustained competitive advantage for our clients. These investigative activities serve to uncover insights and prioritize opportunities for innovation based on a fit between customer needs, market context, and the client’s brand and core capability.
How it Works
Through Design Research, we establish a context for Strategy by identifying key insights about customer and client stakeholder motivations. Drawing on available secondary research, we balance these perspectives by establishing a broad contextual view of the whole, and use this platform to prioritize deep primary investigations in key areas of opportunity.
Primary research investigations are about going to the source of creative inspiration: people. We observe, engage, and collaborate with users and influencers in their native environment to uncover new opportunities for solving human problems, with the broader aim of creating competitive advantage for our customers.
